Framingham State University offers an interdisciplinary minor in digital humanities that allows students to complement their majors with courses that focus on the intersection of digital competencies and humanistic inquiry, culminating in a sustained project and internship.

Digital Competencies are skill sets that help employees stand out in the workforce. By knowing how to navigate digital spaces, create informational content, and protect data, students will be better prepared for the 21st century workforce. Core digital competencies (adapted from Bryn Mawr College’s Digital Competencies Framework ) have been identified by FSU’s Center for Digital Humanities and Mancuso Humanities Workforce Preparation Center to help ensure students will be successful in their chosen careers.
